Having a dinner party at the house on Saturday and trying to get things cleaned up &amp; organized. Who knew trying to plan a party for 40+ people (residents &amp; faculty from Lackland AFB) could be so...um...exasperating. So much to do &amp; things just don't seem to be going my way. Dix in New Jersey. Although he's in the Air Force, he's actually deploying w/ the Army to Iraq because they're so short handed in their medical fields.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:georgia;">Needless to say I'm very bummed. He's supposed to get about 2-weeks back home before he heads to Iraq. I'm hopeful he'll get to come home, but am preparing myself mentally that he won't -- just in case.
